The Indianapolis Colts landed some much-needed depth along the defensive line in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft, selecting Ohio State edge defender JT Tuimoloau.
He should become an immediate member of the Colts' defensive end rotation that is now without Dayo Odeyingbo this season, who signed with the Chicago Bears in free agency.
While teams always want instant impact from eearly-round picks, this selection is also a long-term play by GM Chris Ballard, with Kwity Paye, Tyquan Lewis, and Samson Ebukam all set to be free agents in 2026.
