The work Jason Pierre-Paul vowed to do in preventing others from suffering injuries in fireworks accidents began in earnest Thursday morning when a public service announcement starring the Giants defensive end debuted during "Good Morning America."
In the PSA, which began airing only days before the long Fourth of July weekend, Pierre-Paul holds his hands up to the camera, showing the damage he suffered last July 4, when an explosive went off in his right hand.

He makes two points in the interview-like appearance: "Keep fireworks away from kids" and leave them "to the fireworks professionals.
