Andre-Pierre Gignac didn't need much to open the scoring in the first leg of the Liga MX final.
After Club America forward Oribe Peralta missed a penalty in the first half, Gignac made sure his Tigres side went into the locker room at the Estadio Azteca with an advantage. Taking advantage of a poor pass by America midfielder Jose Guerrero, Gignac used his speed to get past the two defenders on the right side of America's defense.
With goalkeeper Moises Munoz rushing on, Gignac used the outside of his foot to put the ball between Munoz's legs and into the back of the net.
