Wednesday afternoon, the last-place Giants and struggling Rockies are wrapping up their series at AT&T Park in San Francisco (GameTracker). The Giants won the first two games of the three-game set.

Korean third baseman Jae-Gyun Hwang made his MLB debut for the Giants during Wednesday's game. They signed the 29-year-old over the winter and he started the season in Triple-A, where he hit a solid .287/.333/.476 with seven home runs in 68 games. The Giants called him up to prevent him from becoming a free agent via an opt-out clause in his contract.
