Things were already out of hand on the scoreboard during a game between the Mississauga Steelheads and the Guelph Storm in the Ontario Hockey League Wednesday night, but it took a rather bizarre turn with about six minutes to play in the second period.
With the home Steelheads throttling Guelph 7-2 at that point, an apparently (definitely) over-served fan thought then was a good a time as any to get involved in the game. The hoodie-clad man scaled the glass and scurried to center ice, falling before he could get there.
Meanwhile, the bewildered players and referees couldn't do much other than watch.
