Watch: Chase Utley receives long standing ovation in return to Philadelphia

Second baseman Chase Utley is playing his first game back in Philadelphia since being traded to the Dodgers last August, and received a long standing ovation in the first inning that lasted nearly 90 seconds.

Utley stepped to the dish to lead off the game, and was greeted by his old at-bat song in Philly, Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir.”

As fans cheered, Utley tipped his helmet and pointed at Ryan Howard.

Here’s some footage, from the Phillies and Ryan Lawrence of The Philly Voice:

He struck out on five pitches against Vince Velasquez, and was cheered on his way back to the dugout.
