The Toronto Blue Jays were winning 11-3. All the Tampa Bay Rays wanted was to close the gap just a little. But NO. Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar wasn’t having it.
The score was 11-3 and Pillar wanted it to stay that way.
Pillar closed a not inconsiderable amount of green, climbed up the wall, and snagged the would-be home run. This is the new frontrunner for “Catch Of The Year.”
