Despite Washington State coach Mike Leach's wishes, sophomore linebacker Logan Tago has been suspended from the team after felony robbery charges were filed against him Monday, university president Kirk Schulz confirmed to KHQ and SWX in Spokane, Wash.
Tago was identified by the alleged victim as being among a group that he claims attacked him in June and stole a case of beer from him.

Asked Monday about Tago's status, Leach said: "If I have anything to do with it, he'll play until he's proven guilty.
