Golden State Warriors Steve Kerr said he will not coach Monday's Game 4 of his team's first-round playoff series against the Portland Trail Blazers due to chronic back pain.
Kerr said he consulting with doctors for a remedy.
Kerr missed Game 3 because he was ill but felt well enough to watch film with his assistants Sunday morning.
Sources told ESPN on Sunday that Kerr was suffering from head and neck pain.
Lead assistant Mike Brown, who took Kerr's place Saturday night, will again coach the team for Monday's game in Portland.
