The Wildcats held a 54-29 halftime lead, and Villanova's 54 first-half points were the most Iowa had allowed all season. The first-half total was also the most at halftime by any team in the 2016 tournament and the most points in the first half of a tournament game since Iona scored 55 on BYU in 2012.
