Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater pays tribute to Prince with new line call

Prince was a Minneapolis icon. His importance to the city clearly is not lost on Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

Bridgewater, a 23-year-old Miami native who went to college at Louisville, unveiled a new line call Sunday that paid tribute to the late musician, according to ESPN.

Bridgewater was heard yelling "Purple Rain" while going through his checks during Sunday's training camp practice in Mankato, Minn. The line check is similar to Peyton Manning's now-famous "Omaha" call he used with the Broncos.
