Vikings projected to draft CB in latest ESPN mock draft

The Minnesota Vikings need some upgrades at the cornerback position, despite bringing back Byron Murphy Jr. Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has shown he will invest in the area, which makes the latest pick for them in ESPN's mock draft one that is likely.

Field Yates published his latest mock draft and went two rounds deep. In the process, he gave the Vikings Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron. The former Longhorn is seen as a safer pick in the secondary and has some flexibility to play in both man and zone assignments.

Yates explains the pick, writing, "Minnesota spent big to upgrade its defensive interior, but it also has to ensure its secondary does not drop off too much in 2025.
