The Minnesota Vikings can't wait for the party to get started at their new stadium. The team announced Monday its plan to build more party spaces for group sales at U.S. Bank Stadium, their $1.1 billion facility opening this summer in downtown Minneapolis.
Situated in the northeast corner of the stadium, between the lower and upper bowls, the initial plan was to leave the space undeveloped pending ticket sales for the overall venue. Six months before the NFL regular season kicks off, the high demand for tickets prompted the Vikings and their stadium partners to push the green light for developing the party areas, according to team officials.
