It may only be the NFL preseason, but the connection between Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce already looks to be in regular-season form.
Mahomes tossed Kelce a behind-the-back pass in the first quarter of Saturday's preseason action against the Detroit Lions.
Kelce's brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, was impressed with the pass, as were NFL fans watching across the country.
This is the second preseason appearance of the summer for Mahomes, who went 3-of-4 for 27 yards while helping lead the Chiefs to a field goal against the Jacksonville Jaguars last week.
