Los Angeles Chargers star Derwin James took a unique approach to his 2024 offseason.
James trained with the United States Coast Guard for a day as part of Whistle's I Could Do That series.
The three-time Pro Bowl safety discussed the parallels between football and training with the U.S. Coast Guard.
"You may have a plan coming into it, but the plan may alter - everything can change in one play," James said. "Be in control of your mind, trust your training and trust the techniques that were taught to you.
