Veteran defenders send message to Chiefs fans after signing with K.C. as free agents

On Tuesday, veteran defenders Janarius Robinson and Mike Edwards officially signed their new contracts with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Robinson — a 25-year-old defensive lineman who previously played for the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, and Las Vegas Raiders — is entering his first stint with the Chiefs, while Edwards is re-joining Kansas City after spending the 2024 season with the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In videos that were posted to the Chiefs' official Twitter account, both players sent brief messages to Kansas City's fans after officially inking their new deals.

Check out what Robinson and Edwards had to say below:

While Robinson and Edwards are unlikely to be starters for the Chiefs next season, their signings are a signal that Kansas City's front office is still looking to add veteran talent to compete for spots on the team's roster in training camp and the preseason.
