Vaughn Taylor erased a seven-shot deficit Sunday to pass and then outlast Phil Mickelson to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Despite playing in just his 17th PGA Tour event since 2014, Taylor shot a 7-under 65 on Sunday to finish 17 under, one shot ahead of Mickelson. Taylor birdied hole Nos. 13-16 to take the lead, then waited nearly an hour as the rest of the players finished their rounds.

Taylor's snaking, 40-foot birdie putt on the par-4 16th was especially memorable.
"So many things are going through my head right now," Taylor said after his round on CBS.
