USGA under fire regarding 2017 Women's Open at Trump course

Count the the United States Golf Association among groups that have been drawn into the controversy over Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's comments about women on a 2005 videotape.

The USGA is scheduled to play the U.S. Women's Open next July at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., a 10-minute drive from USGA headquarters.

However, in the context of the past week's developments, award-winning USA Today columnist Christine Brennan has called for the USGA to move the event — despite the fact it is only nine months away.
