USA Gymnastics CEO Kerry Perry is being forced to resign after months of criticism from former Olympians and current national team members, a source confirmed to ESPN.
The Orange County Register first reported the ouster of Perry, whose resignation is expected to be announced Tuesday.
Perry was named last December to replace Steve Penny, who resigned in the spring of 2017 in the wake of the Larry Nassar sexual abuse scandal.
Perry's departure will be the second in a matter of days for the USAG, which on Friday parted ways with Mary Lee Tracy just three days after she was hired as coach of the women's elite development program.
