The United States men’s soccer team unveiled its press room ahead of the World Cup in Qatar, and the team is choosing to outwardly support the LGBTQ community with its design.
The press room has an entire wall dedicated to the team’s famed rainbow badge, which will be worn by the USMNT during the World Cup. The wall also says “One Nation.”
“When we’re on the global stage, and when we’re in a venue like Qatar, it’s important to highlight these issues, and that’s what ‘Be the Change’ is about,” USMNT head coach Gregg Berhalter said, via Reuters.
