United States drops CONCACAF match to Guatemala

The United States passed up an opportunity to move to the top of Group C in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying as they suffered a shocking 2-0 loss to Guatemala on Friday.

Rafael Morales and Carlos Ruiz scored early goals for the hosts as they took full advantage of poor defending from the U.S., which lost to Guatemala for the first time since 1988.
