The 2021 Rugby League World Cup could be heading to the United States after a bid was submitted for the competition's newest nation to host it.
It was at the 2013 event that the U.S. made its debut on the biggest stage, and on Tuesday it was confirmed by Moore Sports International that a bid had been submitted.

"We are honored and excited at the opportunity to showcase this sport to this nation — and the nation to this sport," said Jason Moore, chief executive of the marketing and event management company.
