Jessica Andrade had decided she was too small for 135 pounds, so in her last fight against Jessica Penne, she dropped down to strawweight. She beat Penne at UFC 199 by second-round submission. She would be facing a tougher test against Joanne Calderwood.
Andrade passed with flying colors Saturday night, defeating Calderwood by first-round submission (guillotine choke) at 4:38 of the first round at UFC 203.

The fight began with Andrade setting the tempo and going right at Calderwood. Andrade had Calderwood against the cage looking for a takedown.
