Jose Aldo won the interim UFC featherweight title on Saturday night with a unanimous decision victory over Frankie Edgar , but after the fight his focus was directly on lineal titleholder Conor McGregor.
In his post-fight interview in the cage he said his "one goal is to beat this guy" and pointed to McGregor, who was sitting cageside. Aldo infamously got knocked out by McGregor in 13 seconds in December, but looked terrific against Edgar, shaking off the embarrassment of that loss in his first fight back.
McGregor's next fight is at UFC 202 at 170 pounds in a rematch with Nate Diaz, but he's vowed to return to 145 to defend his title -- even though they just handed out an interim belt.
