Conor McGregor is the biggest star in the UFC, or at least he was. On Saturday night, Nate Diaz became the first man to finish McGregor inside the UFC Octagon.
The brash Irishman moved up two weight classes to prove a point and take on Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 196 after his original opponent, lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, had to bow out of their fight with a foot injury.

But Diaz was not to be taken lightly, and after an ill fated takedown attempt, Diaz batter the Irishman and coaxed a submission victory.
