Don't be surprised to hear Stewart-Haas Racing officials announce Ty Dillon as driver of its No. 14 car for the second Sprint Cup race of 2016.
Tony Stewart, the team co-owner, is unable to drive while recovering from back surgery. Brian Vickers is piloting the No. 14 at Daytona and could well continue that assignment.

However, Dillon was among options for Stewart's replacement early on. Media sources at Daytona including NBC Sports were saying there is a good chance Dillon will take the car at Atlanta.
