Two players are continually linked to Manchester City to step in at right-back but one player stands out

It is no secret that Manchester City will be in the market for a right-back this summer. With Kyle Walker unlikely to return to the club following his loan spell at AC Milan, that leaves only Rico Lewis and Matheus Nunes, who Pep Guardiola can employ in the position. So, the City’s need for another right-back is obvious.

Two players have consistently been named as potential summer targets for Manchester City to step in at right-back. They are Juventus full-back Andrea Cambiaso and Bayer Leverkusen’s attacking wing-back Jeremie Frimpong. Fraser Fletcher has previously reported for TeamTalk that Manchester City have an interest in signing Frimpong this summer.
