Two drivers were sent to the hospital after a massive crash at Saturday's Formula 3 race in Austria.
Ryan Tveter spun off the road during the race at Red Bull Ring and kicked up a huge cloud of dust from a gravel trap. Tveter's car was struck from behind by Peter Li Zhi Cong, who corkscrewed through the air before landing. Pedro Piquet also struck Tveter following the initial accident.
Li was airlifted to the hospital while Tveter was taken off in an ambulance. Li suffered broken bones in his heel, which will require surgery, and four fractured vertebrae, which will not require surgery, per Fox Sports.
