It's the most beautiful sight for any of his players: a clean-shaven Ricardo "Tuca" Ferretti.
The 62-year-old manager was without his trademark facial hair Sunday, shortly after his Tigres team won a shootout over Club America that gave the club its fifth title in its history. The game might as well have had a watermark in the corner reading "Trademark Ferretti," it was so clearly a game he was coaching in.
Though Tigres weren't as defensive as they had been in previous campaigns, Ferretti still relied on his central defenders to play out of the back. His side also got the ball to dangerous attackers out wide, creating chances when they switched fields into large portions of space or when they were able to find Andre-Pierre Gignac.
