Trent Williams' holdout with the San Francisco 49ers is over.
According to his agents, Elite Loyalty Sports, the 49ers agreed to rework Williams' contract by giving him a three-year, $82.6 million deal. The contract includes $48 million at signing and $25.69 million via a signing bonus.
The 49ers opened training camp without Williams. The superstar left tackle wanted to adjust his contract since there was no guaranteed money left on the six-year, $138 million deal he signed in March 2021.
"It was something I knew could be a possibility, and I was hoping that he would be here," head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters after the team's first training camp practice on July 24.
