North Alabama transfer offensive lineman Mickel Clay knew that West Virginia was where he wanted to spend his final season at the college level.
So, he decided there was no reason to wait any longer and committed to the football program.
“I loved everything about the school, the tradition and the entire coaching staff,” he said.

Clay, 6-foot-5, 278-pounds, visited Morgantown April 9-10 and on the trip instantly felt at home. In fact, it was during that trip that he had made up his mind on where he wanted to play next.
“I felt in my heart it was the best decision for me and the program,” he said.
