2017 marks the 104th Tour de France, and it's one of the deepest fields of the decade. Defending two-time champion Chris Froome is the odds-on favorite to win it all, although he has hit some rough spots early on. However, as they say, it's a marathon, not a sprint, and Froome is only 12 seconds behind leader Geraint Thomas after three stages. Thomas won the Stage 1 time trial in 16:04, where Stage 2 saw a crash that took out a massive chunk of the field, including Froome. Marcel Kittel won the second stage, but he has been a bit of a non-factor in the general field.
