Aussie Michael Matthews claimed his first stage victory in the Tour de France, edging a thrilling six-way sprint over the final 250 meters on Tuesday.
Matthews (Orica-BikeExchange) just edged Tinkoff's Peter Sagan, who had led for much of the final 10 kilometers, while Dimension Data's Edvald Boasson Hagen came home third in the 197-kilometer 10th stage between Escaldes Engordany and Revel.
