O.J. Simpson will eventually confess to the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, a longtime friend of Simpson's told the New York Daily News.
"The guy is in total torment today," said Ron Shipp, a former policeman who testified at Simpson's 1995 murder trial that he'd been a friend of the former NFL star for 26 years.
Shipp, who spoke to the Daily News at the L.A. premiere of ESPN's "O.J. Simpson: Made in America" docu-series, says Simpson can exorcize his demons only by coming clean.

"I hope one day he actually will rid us of all the doubt and all the conspiracy theories and say, 'Sorry, I cannot go to prison (because of double-jeopardy laws), but I am sorry I did it," said Shipp, who added he believes it will happen.
