Oklahoma's top returning receiver, Dede Westbrook, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespassing in his hometown of Cameron, Texas, according to KMIL 105.1 FM.
Westbrook, 22, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. CT Monday and released at 2:15 p.m. the same day from the Milam County Jail.
"We're aware of it and are addressing internally," OU spokesmen Mike Houck said.
A rising senior, Westbrook is expected to take over as a huge part of Oklahoma's offense after Sterling Shepard's departure.
Westbrook had 46 catches for 743 yards and four touchdowns last season and was named Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year after he transferred to Oklahoma from Blinn College in Texas.
