Stewart-Haas Racing dropped a bombshell Wednesday, annoucing that the organization is switching to Ford in 2017.
Stewart-Haas has had a strong relationship with Chevrolet since championship driver Tony Stewart bought into the Gene Haas-owned team in 2008 and became and owner/driver in 2009. The organization also has had an affilation with Hendrick Motorsports, Chevrolet's top team.

“I am proud of our association with Chevrolet as they helped build our organization into the team it is today,” Stewart, co-owner of Stewart-Haas, said in a release from the team Wednesday morning.
