BRISTOL, Tenn. — Tony Stewart has experienced some neat tributes during his final Sprint Cup season this year. His victory lap with legend Jeff Gordon at Indianapolis Motor Speedway was about as special as it gets.
But Stewart, who is retiring after this season, probably enjoyed Sunday's celebration with winning teammate Kevin Harvick as much as any. Stewart, who co-owns Harvick's Stewart Haas Racing team, joined Harvick for a victory lap and duel burnouts after Harvick won the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
“I wanted him to go on a victory lap with me and say goodbye to all the fans one last time here at Bristol.
