CANTON, Ohio — Tony Dungy didn’t have to look for a seat at the Hall of Fame luncheon Friday.
Dungy simply looked for his presenter, Donnie Shell.
“We just got ourselves a Steeler table,” Dungy said in media interviews Friday. “It was Mel Blount, John Stallworth, Donnie Shell, Jerome Bettis and Dermontti Dawson. We’re talking about where we got our starts. Franco Harris was there, and all these guys that were mentors were there and guys I had an opportunity to coach.”

Dungy’s Steelers genes won’t change — he’s the 10th Steeler from the Super Bowl XIII team to enter and openly campaigned for Shell to enter the Hall of Fame in his speech.
