Tommy Bowden, like most people who clad themselves in orange and purple, does not like South Carolina.
The former Clemson football coach went 7-2 in the nine games he led the Tigers against the Gamecocks, but Bowden might still have some harsh feelings toward USC. He was, after all, part of the 2004 brawl that took place in Memorial Stadium against the Lou Holtz-coached Cocks.

Bowden, 62, was a guest on ESPN Charlotte's "The Pulse" on Tuesday and was asked about Saturday's Palmetto Bowl in Death Valley.
