Publicly criticizing his star quarterback might have been all part of Bruce Arians' plan to get the best out of Tom Brady.
NFL Network's James Palmer spoke to a Tampa Bay player who said Brady "went to another level this week in practice" ahead of Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
"He doesn’t want to lose at anything, especially a football game," the player said. "So we’ve seen him come out to practice just locked in and focused."
The Bucs dropped their opener, 34-23, to the New Orleans Saints. Brady went 23-of-36 for 239 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
