Tom Brady inspired gymnast Aly Raisman to attempt rare Olympic comeback bid

Olympic gymnasts normally compete when they are in their teens. At age 18, Aly Raisman was considered one of the older gymnasts on the U.S. squad at the 2012 London Games.

Raisman, now 22, talked to Patriots quarterback Tom Brady about the perceived difficulty in joining the U.S. women's gymnastics team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

“I was like, `I’m too old,'” Raisman said, via NBC Sports. “Tom said, `No. you’re not.’ And it’s like, when quarterbacks win the Super Bowl, they don’t ask them if they’re done.
