TJ Dillashaw proved again that he's the best 135-pound fighter in the UFC, defeating archrival Cody Garbrandt by TKO in the first round in their title rematch Saturday night at UFC 227 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The stoppage came at the 4:10 mark of Round 1.
For Dillashaw (16-3), it's his second straight win over Garbrandt (11-2), whom he defeated by second-round knockout to reclaim the bantamweight title at UFC 217 on Nov. 4.
Dillashaw has won four fights in a row. Garbrandt has lost two straight after beginning his career on an 11-fight winning streak.
