Former World Cup-winning Brazil coach Carlos Alberto Parreira says the secret to the Seelcao’s resurgence lies with the human touch of new coach Tite.
Former Corinthians boss Tite has completely transformed the national team since his June appointment, getting their World Cup qualification campaign back on track with six consecutive victories since his arrival.
And Parreira, who led Brazil to glory in 1994 and was assistant to Luiz Felipe Scolari in 2014, has been overjoyed by a run of form that has turned the Selecao into one of the favourites for Russia 2018.
“Tite has completely changed the atmosphere, he is a great manager of people, of human beings,” said Perreira, speaking from a CBF coaching course in Teresopolis.
