COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett is still locked in a competition with Cardale Jones.
At halftime of the Buckeyes’ spring game Saturday, Barrett took part in a long-distance throw competition against Jones. Barrett launched the ball 62 yards before Jones barely moved and unleashed a 64-yard throw. Barrett would later claim he put just 75 percent into the throw to any reporter within earshot.

"It's OK,” Barrett said. “That's my man. He's going to talk trash to me later, and I'll take it.
