Two-time Cy Young Award winner Tim Lincecum told reporters Friday he feels he can pitch "five or six more years" in the majors.
Before he can do that, the 31-year-old right-hander nicknamed "The Freak" must prove to scouts he can still pitch effectively in the wake of a left hip injury that ended his season last June and resulted in surgery.

To that end, Lincecum took the mound Friday at the Giants' practice facility in Scottsdale, Ariz., to show his stuff before dozens of representatives from more than 20 MLB teams.
