Tigers score run as Twins reliever throws wild pitch on intentional walk

The Twins' bullpen has been terrible all season, so it was no surprise Pat Light allowed a run to score by throwing a wild pitch on an intentional walk Thursday afternoon.

With Tigers pinch hitter Erick Aybar at the plate in the top of the ninth and runners on second and third — after they had advanced on a wild pitch earlier in the inning — Light airmailed Ball 4 four over the head of catcher Juan Centeno.

The wild pitch brought home Justin Upton and opened up the floodgates for the Tigers, who scored six runs in the inning.
