Tiger Woods is set to miss another major championship.
The 14-time major winner made the expected official Tuesday, announcing he will not compete in next week's U.S. Open at Oakmont or the Quicken Loans National at Congressional the following week as he continues to work his way into shape after back surgery.

"While I continue to work hard on getting healthy, I am not physically ready to play in this year's U.S. Open and the Quicken Loans National," Woods said in a statement posted on his website.
