SHEBOYGAN, Wis. — Matt Jones moved into the lead Saturday morning as the storm-delayed PGA Championship at Whistling Straits wrapped up the second round.
Tiger Woods, however, is moving on, possibly having played for the final time this season.
After a vicious storm tore through Whistling Straits on Friday suspending play and leaving plenty of damage in its wake, Jones woke up to a morning of sunshine and superb putting. He polished off a 7-under-par 65 with two birdies in six holes and stands at 11 under after 36 holes.
He is two clear of fellow Aussie Jason Day and three clear of Justin Rose.
