A week after saying he wasn't sure when he'd be able to return to competitive golf, Tiger Woods announced on Tuesday that he will take part in the PNC Championship later this month alongside his son Charlie.
“I’m very excited to head back to the PNC Championship next week with Charlie,” Woods said in a statement. “Playing together is something we look forward to and it’s always more special when you’re surrounded by friends and family.”
Woods withdrew from last weekend's Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, which benefits his foundation, as he's still rehabbing his back following microdecompression surgery in September.
