Four games into this year’s Stanley Cup Final, both the Penguins and Predators are two games closer to (and yet still two wins detached from) hockey’s elusive summit.
The home team has won every game in this series – the first two in Pittsurgh, the latter two in Nashville – and a best-of-seven has transitioned to a best-of-three. There have been plenty of surprises along the way.
Now, with the teams deadlocked at two games apiece, the series begins again on Thursday night in Pittsburgh. To say there’s a lot at stake would be a colossal understatement.
